Courses offered to Grade 12 Students

Yes! It's true! We are offering you NEW course options!
The University of Sudbury offers you the possibility to take online courses that meet the requirements for your high school diploma and that lead to university credits. Think about your future and get ahead in obtaining your degree!

You can enroll if...
  • you have an average of 75% or more for your grade 11 courses;
  • you can work independently;
  • you want to obtain university credits in advance;
  • you are eager to embark on a rewarding adventure!

All you have to do is...
  • select the course that interests you among the list;
  • see your guidance counselor to register online and add this course to your grade 12 schedule.
Note: The decision pertaining to your admission is without appeal and remains the exclusive right of Laurentian University.

Once the course has been sucessfully completed, you will receive a credit toward your high school diploma, and three university credits will be waiting for you. There is no fee accompanying the high school credit. You will only have to pay the tuition fees associated with the university credits upon enrollment.

INITIATION AU JOURNALISME ET RELATIONS PUBLIQUES
Ce cours te donnera un aperçu du champ du journalisme et des relations publiques. Entre autres, tu seras amené à développer des aptitudes en rédaction dans les domaines du journalisme et des relations publiques : rédaction d’un article, rédaction d’un communiqué de presse, etc.

Les Premières Nations de l’Amérique du Nord : Perspective euro-américaine
Les Européens et, par la suite, les Euro-Américains, considéraient l’Amérique un territoire vierge, mais cette pensée devait se heurter à la vérité que ce continent était habité par plusieurs millions de personnes. On accorde une attention particulière aux comportements anthropologiques, historiques et culturels des groupes amérindiens de la région des Grands Lacs.

Le pays et le peuple de la bible
Ce cours présente les hauts-lieux et les personnages majeurs de l’histoire nd’Israël et des débuts du christianisme selon les récits de l’Ancien et du Nouveau Testament, mais aussi, selon les découvertes récentes de l’archéologie.
