University of Sudbury to Celebrate Earth Day with Local High School Students - April 20 and 21

On Thursday, April 20th, and Friday, April 21st, 2017, between 9:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the University of Sudbury will once again host its annual Earth Day activities for high school students. As this initiative has been very successful in the past, with well over 100 participants in recent years, this year, the University elected to offer nine workshops over two days to accommodate even more students in this highly entertaining, interactive and educational experience!

For the past six year, Earth Day celebrations have been one of the University’s annual events. It is a cause that is dear to the University of Sudbury, and the perfect opportunity to remind students to think about humanity’s values, and educate them on the threats that the planet faces and ways to help protect the environment.

With workshops offered by Crittical Critter, various professors from Laurentian University, as well as by Lake Laurentian Conservation Area, both days promise to be most interesting!
