On September 29th, 2013, a mass commemorating the 10th anniversary of École secondaire du Sacré-Cœur and the 100th anniversary of the University of Sudbury took place at the St-Jean de Brébeuf church. A reception at the high school followed where Ms. Nicole McAllister, representing the Ministry of Education, presented both institutions with a certificate in recognition of their respective journey.
