President Bouffard flipping pancakes for the residents
The University of Sudbury Residence organized its first Pancake Breakfast on Wednesday, December 5th, in order to provide a hearty and free breakfast to residents beginning their exam period in December. The breakfast was extra sweet as Dr. Sophie Bouffard, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sudbury, and her executive assistant Maureen Gervais, joined the Residence Life team, the Residence Office staff and other volunteer residents to cook up the hot breakfast. Well over 40 students lined up, many still in pyjamas, to fuel up and enjoy the pancakes with a variety of toppings, including fresh fruit and chocolate chips. To complete this event, Christmas carols were sung, resulting in loads of laughter and fun. Many thanks to Dr. Sophie Bouffard, Maureen Gervais and all the volunteers who made this a successful event truly worth repeating!
