Orange Shirt Day is an occasion to remember and recognize the legacy of the Residential School system. Every year since 2013 many organizations, local governments, schools and communities come together on September 30th in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Staff and students were encouraged to wear orange and to participate in the events held at the Indigenous Learning and Sharing Centre.
