(Updated) Restricted access to building
December 21, 2020 - As announced by Premier Ford this afternoon, the province of Ontario will enter a shutdown as of 12:01 a.m. on December 26, lasting 14 days in Northern Ontario.
Please note that during this shutdown period (Dec. 26 to Jan. 8 inclusively) – for which the dates largely coincide with the University’s previously-planned Christmas closure – no access to the University of Sudbury building will be granted.
January 8, 2021 - Yesterday, the province announced an extended shutdown in Northern Ontario for another two weeks. Please note that due to this extension, the current restrictions to accessing our building will remain in place until January 23rd, 2021.
UPDATE: January 13, 2021: As per the province-wide state of emergency and stay-at-home orders announced yesterday (January 12) by the Ontario government, the current restrictions to accessing our building are extended until at least February 11, 2021. The building will remain locked during this time.
