University of Sudbury students are Laurentian Federation students. As a student of the Laurentian Federation, you will need to register through Laurentian University. You will also pay your tuition fees to Laurentian University.

What is the Laurentian Federation?
Essentially, individuals who register as Laurentian University students have the opportunity to take courses at any of the four federated Universities on campus: the University of Sudbury, Huntington University, Thorneloe University, and Laurentian University. Courses, majors and minors taken at any of these universities are credited towards a Laurentian University degree.

In a nutshell: 1 Federation (4 Universities) = more choices in regards to studies, services, ressources and events on one campus, allowing for a rich and varied university experience, tailored to your preferences!

"The University of Sudbury has offered me an incredible environment in which I have grown both as an academic and as an individual.  In my opinion, the small class sizes allow for unparalleled one-on-one interaction with professors and allow for students to share ideas and learn from each other’s perspectives.  I would strongly encourage students to take courses at the University of Sudbury.  I did, and it changed my life for the better in so many ways." - Kian Madjedi, graduate
