The University of Sudbury, now named Université de Sudbury, is currently in a transition phase. In 2021, it became a French-language university in order to be able to serve the needs of the Francophone and the Francophile communities of Northeastern Ontario. All its programs and courses will be delivered both online and in person at its Greater Sudbury campus.

As it prepares to resume its teaching activities, the Université de Sudbury is currently developing a suite of undergraduate programs in an array of subjects that are in demand, both in Canada and abroad.
